Joshua Jackson '24 Recruiting Profile

My goals and aspirations for college are to get a great education and excel in all classes to ensure a great future for myself. As a current player on my football team now, I am not the loudest when it comes to leadership but I always make sure to bring my teammates up and encourage them to bring what they have to the table. Going into college I will carry that with me, encouraging my teammates, helping them to do their best, pushing them and myself to the maximum potential, and overall bringing good morale to the team. Something that sets me apart from other recruits is that I have confidence and while confidence is important, a lot of other athletes lose sight that they are part of a team and the team is what is needed to succeed. Academically, most athletes aren't as focused in the classroom as they are on the field but being a student-athlete I assure I will do both.
