Like nearly every other kid who plays football, my goal is to win. I don't enjoy defeat. I am hyper-competitive and have an intense desire to defeat my opponent – regardless of the type of contest. This attitude applies to everything from a friendly game of corn-hole to a state championship football game. As a kicker I crave the rush of energy that comes from a successful kick. This is why I put in the extra effort to master my craft. I'm a believer that “practice makes perfect”. I may not win every time I take the field, but there is nobody trying harder.
