Personal Statement

Hello my name is Darby Neal and I am a senior from Verrado High School in Buckeye, Arizona. I am a defensive end who has played in a 3-4 and a 4-2-5 defensive scheme in my 3 years as a varsity athlete. As a very coachable athlete, I was able to experience a lot of success my junior and senior years. My senior year I had the privilege of serving on my team as one of its captains. I have a very strong work ethic on the field as well as in the classroom. I strive for excellence in all I do. The sport of football has become a strong motivator in my life and made me work hard to stay successful as I continue to strive to play at the next level.
