Personal Statement

Thank you for your review of my NCSA football profile!

After graduating in June of 2011, I completed the 2011 and 2012 seasons (including redshirt) as a quarterback at Arizona State University. I saw little playing time, including the 2012 Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl against Navy.

I am currently 21 years old (DOB September 12, 1993), 6’5" 220 lbs. My strengths are leadership, physical and mental discipline, and I love to train hard.

As a high school senior in 2010-2011, I was fortunate to be recruited from a small Christian high school in Sacramento to Arizona State University by then-head coach Dennis Erickson and offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone. Both of these coaches have agreed to be references for me if need be. Also, I have had the opportunity to have coaching experience with Todd Graham for one whole year while at Arizona State. Coach Graham’s comments on my quarterback performance, leadership, knowledge and skills are referenced on my NCSA website information.

To reach my goal of competing, I needed to transfer from ASU to get more playing time and stats during the 2013 season.  Due to NCAA transfer rules and having the ability to play during the 2013 season, I chose to transfer to American River College in Sacramento, CA.  I am currently at ARC working thoroughly on my strength and conditioning.  Several days prior to the start of the 2013 football season, I tore my labrum in my shoulder.  I was fortunate to have one of the best orthopedic surgeons from the UC Davis Medical Group, who performs surgeries on many professional athletes. During the recovery period I was able to work with ARC trainers to do my extensive physical therapy and stay in excellent shape as I am now.  In February 2014 I was medically released for 2014 spring football.  During the 2013 season while recovering, during games I performed in an assistant offensive coordinator role for the ARC team which provided me excellent experience.

My goal is to be recruited after the 2014 season at ARC and return to a four year institution in January 2015 for spring football and regular season.

Please let me know how I can stay in touch with you to discuss your 2015 quarterback needs. I can be reached on my cell phone (916) 214-8295 and email [email protected].  For an easier reference, my NCSA weblinks are below.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
