Personal Statement
Growing up with an alcoholic mother and an exconvict father I wasn't given much of an opportunity to succeed in life. At nine years old I was taken away from my mother by the State of Oregon then relocated to Clifornia with my father.
Living in California I began a life of structure and discipline. I started playing football the summer after eighth grade where I learned my passion for the sport. I am a selfless player that primarily focuses on the greater good of the team and not my individual statistics. Through out my four years of playing football I learned to be a student first and an athlete second, which was a major change for me. By doing so I was able to reach many accomplishments academically. I plan to use the same mentality and better it to better myself during these next stages of my life.
As I begin this journey I wish to become a greater, stronger, and smarter man using my self determination to further improve my life. My dream is to succeed at a school that will challenge and help improve my skills as a student athlete. I am open to all opportunities and hope to ultimately find the right match at the highest level possible.
