Hello, my name is Richlyn Gooden and I have been playing football for seven years. My positions include RB, DN and linebacker. Football is a sport that I fell in love with at a young age and has become a form of therapy for me. When I step on the field I feel like the world stops and noting else matters. Football is my only solace and a place where I experience true euphoria. I do not come from a family of college graduates or athletes. However, I am surrounded by drug/alcohol addicts and gang members. I am working to break the cycles of poverty before me and hope to become a college graduate. Furthermore, given the opportunity I will play in college and my ultimate dream would be a Draft Pick. I would gladly accept a contract with any NFL team and work to the best of my abilities at all times. Currently I play in Bakersfield, CA for the Ravens a GYEF recreation team. I am entering the eight grade and would love to meet you some day. If you would like to watch an athlete who is self motivated, self driven, hard working, and a team player please come see me in action.
I appreciate your time and look forward to meeting you one day.
Thank you!
Richlyn Gooden
