I am Micah Servano Olivas, currently 16 years old and a triathlete for the first two years of my high school career. I am born and raised in Salinas, California, a very culturally diverse and unique city.
As I look forward to the near future, I have been investing all my high school time and effort into a worthwhile college education. I currently go to Palma High School, which is a college preparatory school. I hope to be able to compete athletically at the college level, to contribute to an elite team. Athletics has been central to most of my time outside of academics.
As much as I love playing sports, I believe that my education should come first. That is why I strive to perform to my utmost ability in academics as well as in athletics. I aim to deliver the same level of excellence on the field as well as in the classroom. And with that work ethic, I am interested in majoring in the medical field, which demands that excellence for which I strive.
