William (Billy) Ladd '24 Recruiting Profile

I think I have a very unique football story.  After playing high level basketball only for many years, I made the decision to try out for the football team my Junior year. I made the team and ended the season leading the WCAL with 5 Interceptions, one of those was a pick six.  In the CCS Section, I led all juniors in interceptions in the 2022 season. We won the CCS Conference Title, NorCal title and lost in the state championship game.  2 of my interceptions, including my pick six were in the postseason run.  I also love to hit and had 47 tackles in my first year.

I love football - I love everything about it.  I want to play this game at the next level - my many years in high level basketball have helped me create my biggest asset - my nose for the ball and my ability to anticipate on the field.  If I was able to have this success in my first year on raw talent alone, I believe that my purpose on this planet is to play football.  I look forward to working on my technique this offseason and starting the recruiting process!
