My goals for playing football at the next level is to play as long as possible and as best as I can. Ever since I was young I've always wanted to play football because that's what my family was all about with my brother playing ,my dad coaching ,and my mom being a coach for the cheerleaders. Football has always been a part of our family, however I wasn't able to play because I was born with a liver condition that required me to wait for a new liver and have a transplant. So up until I was 12 years old I was spending most days in and out of the hospital and meaning I couldn't play football or any contact sport whatsoever. Nobody thought I would ever be able to play. So after my transplant when I finally turned 13 and heading into my first year of high school my surgeon told me I am able to join the team, it made me really happy that I could play a sport, especially football. My first few days on the team were challenging but to see how far I've already come and the fact that I wanted to play this sport since I was young kept me going, but now its really cool to see how far I've come from not knowing I would ever be able to play the sport and being told I wouldn't be able to play because of my condition. Now being on a team and being a starting lineman playing both ways for my varsity team means everything to me.
