My name is Theodore Hart, but most people call me Teddy, unless you are close family, then it is Theo. It sounds complicated, but basically, I answer to just about anything. I am the class of 2023 and to say my high school experience has been abnormal is an understatement so I won't bore you with any COVID stories. I was just happy that I got to play football and soccer throughout the COVID pandemic all the while continuing my high school education. My education has always centered around Math. It comes easy and held my main interest until I started high school when I had the opportunity to take college level business classes in the halls of my high school. Blessed with phenomenal teachers in the program, I am gaining college credits towards business and enjoying the classes, but most importantly, honing in on what I would like to study in college: Business Sports Management and Marketing. I have always loved sports, played sports and now, I can use my knowledge of sports to prepare me for a career that will be interesting, enjoyable and provide a living. Combine all that with my love of math, I am figuring out my future, becoming more organized academically and striving towards a goal at a pivotal time in my life. Enter football. I am crazy about the sport, grew up watching it, manage fantasy leagues, watch it every chance I get and now, play it. I grew up playing soccer, and throughout my high school years, have been a dual sport athlete playing soccer and football, during the same season. I naturally fit into the role of kicker with all my years playing soccer. This year as I ran onto the field to take an extra point, my soccer teammates began chatting my name, it fueled the adrenaline and propelled me to kick further and getting the crowd involved in the game, we went on to play better as a team. Kicker comes with a different type of weight, the game can come down to that one kick. I want to be the one that the coach calls on, I want to be the one the crowd is chatting for, I want the adrenaline, the thrill, the weight, it makes me succeed. Put me in Coach!
