My name is Benjamin "Ben" Roth. I am a Senior Linebacker for Seminole High School (Class 8A) in Sanford, FL.
I am a strong academic student and multi-sport athlete (Varsity Football and Lacrosse- Varsity Goalie). In 2015 I was a Varsity Captain, Team Defensive MVP, All-Conference 2nd Team Linebacker, All-Conference Academic Team, and the team’s leading tackler, with 118 tackles, 7 sacks, a Safety and a Touchdown.
I work very hard year-round to prepare myself, both physically and mentally, through Strength Specific (Strongman Inc.) and Speed/Agility/Position (Tom Shaw Performance) training.
Through it all, I am able to maintain high academic standards, while taking AP, Honors and Advanced course loads. I am a member of the National Honor Society and volunteer with Best Buddies.
I am a very hard working, positive, and team-driven player. I try to uplift those around me and at the same time I feed off of my teammates. My hope is to not just find a team to play on, but a family to grow with.
My goals are very simple. I want to play football at the highest level possible while, at the same time, obtaining the best possible education and college experience available. Maintaining that balance will be very important to me, as I look to play at the next level.

- The SFSFC will give you the opportunity to be coached by coaches from the nation’s leading academic institutions from across the country including the Ivy League and NESCAC. Several former NFL players will also be coaching the entire three day camp.

- The U.S. National Team Regional Development Camp features two days of competition, including individual drills, 1-on-1 training and 7-on-7 situations. This includes the opportunity to train with and learn from current NCAA coaches and former NFL players and coaches. It also provides athletes with the chance to be selected for the U.S. National Team program at their age level.

- South Florida Select Football Clinic (SFSFC) is excited to be back for our 2nd season. We bring coaches from the top academic schools in the country including all the Ivy’s, most of the NESCAC’s, University of Chicago, and Johns Hopkins to name a few The South Florida Select Football Clinic (SFCSFC) is unique as it is the only football clinic that brings coaches from the country’s top academic institutions to your kids. The SFSFC will provide a venue to expose high school student-athletes to outstanding instruction from coaches representing the nation’s top universities as well as many other colleges. Student athletes from across the country can also travel to South Florida to attend this unique clinic and be introduced to coaching techniques and coaches from the DI-AA, the Ivy League, NESCAC and several other top academic institutions. Many student-athletes may not be able to afford to travel to visit multiple colleges. Our goal is to expose football student-athletes to coaches from these academic institutions by bringing the coaches to the kids. Last year campers from AK, CA, AZ, OR, MO, WI, TX, TN, GA, IL, MD, NC, PA, NY, and Florida attended camp.
