Thank you for taking time to read my personal statement. My name is Graci Tubbs. I am a senior at Seminole High School in Seminole, FL. I have been playing softball since I can remember. I love the game. I am a utility player. I play for Seminole High School and Bullets-Klinefelter 18u. I play second base for my high school team and second, short and outfield for my travel ball team. I was recognized by my team and high school coaches with the 2023 Team Player of the Year, which is for MVP and having strong leadership skills. I was also given the 2023 award for First Team for the Pinellas County Athletic Conference North Division for playing 2nd base. Our team finished the season 12-6. We have played in Regionals the past 3 years. Last year, we placed second. We won Districts in 2021 and 2022. My personal stats for this year include: leading the teaming several categories with I4 RBI's, .583 SLG, hits 21 and batting average .438. My fielding percentage was .941.
As far as academics, I have a 4.51GPA and am currently ranked number 10 in my class. I am Senior Class President. I also have my own nonprofit I started when I was 9 years old. It's called Operation: Military Matters. I send care packages to our military overseas. Of course, I have a lot of volunteers who help me. I have raised more than $500,000 and sent more than 8,500 care packages so far. Recently I was honored by Governor DeSantis for a Hero Award and the Holocaust Museum with a Humanitarian Award.
