Jonathon Belasky '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Jonathon Belasky Jr and I’m from a small town named Bell outside of Gainesville, Florida . Some people say that being from a small town might limit my possibilities in going to do big things in life but I think different. I’m proud of where I’m from. I have faith that if I show my values and hard work on and off the field I can achieve greatness with anything I do. People say my best attribute is my grind. I have a work ethic that’s hard to match. There may be kids with more skill and talent, but there isn’t one who will out work me. Since I was 5, my dads always said the same thing to me before every game. He grabs me by the helmet and says “Everything you’ve got”. That means 100% effort, 100% of the time. I apply that to every aspect of my life. My hard work and dedication to fitness, my academics and football drives me to be better everyday. Every single day I wake up and correct my mistakes. I never fail. I either succeed or I learn. Everyday I start over and try to be a better version of myself. I love football and fitness but ultimately it’s a platform to help people. Help them physically and mentally. I would like to use my platform to motivate people to better themselves. I want to show that even when you hit rock bottom and are at the lowest point in life and feel like you can’t do it, that you can do it. The correct mindset and faith is all it takes. You can fight through any trial. You can beat all mental and physical pain to achieve greatness. Set goals and crush them. Never quit. Always moving forward. I’m not shy about my relationship with Jesus. He’s a huge part of my life and I want as many people as possible to know HIM, his love and the hope he gives me. He is my WHY!
