My name is Cade white, I'm 17 years old, 5'10" and 185lbs. I currently play Middle linebacker on the Varsity team for East Bay High school located in Gibsonton fl. I am the son of a 32 year navy seal which has allowed me to travel the world and the country along with making it easier adjusting to new environments. In 2015 I had open heart surgery and was told I would never be able to play football or lift more than 200 pounds. With that being said I've played organized Football for a total of 3 years. I spent my freshman and sophomore years in South Korea and was able to play only 1 season of football while living there due to covid-19. I arrived to East Bay in the 2021-22 year and spent the first half of the season on jv where I played safety and won defensive player of the year. I was moved up after the season and got moved to middle linebacker. I spent the whole off-season in the weight room where I put on 25 pounds and got faster. I was able to get multiple teammates to do the same which I strongly believe bettered the team. After only 2 weeks into the 2022-23 season and playing linebacker for the first time, I was given a leadership role to coach and lead the other linebackers. During the season I tore both of my labrum's which led to limited playing time in the middle of the season. My collegiate goals are to play for a team at any level and win as much as possible along with getting a degree in exercise science. I believe that my work ethic, and desire to play the game will help the team win. I know I can be a role model and leader on and off the field. During the 2022-23 season I helped my school win a district championship for only the third time in school history and make it to the second round of the Florida 3M regional playoffs.
