John Rana '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is John rana , but my family and friends call me Gabe. I have maintained a 3.0 gpa or higher all throughout high school after graduating I hope to pursue a career in computer science/engineering .My love for sports started at a very young age , I've played football since I was 7 years old and its always been my passion. football has always come natural to me, my football IQ for linebacker and my ability to read the play before its happening , and to make split second adjustments on the field as the play develops is one of my biggest attributes to bring to the team. I'm a team player , I always try and lead by example , keeping the best interest of my team at heart.  I finished 5th in the state in overall tackles my sophomore year, but a change of coaching and me playing all positions really put a toll on me physically and I was not able to perform to the best of my abilities. Ive since transferred schools going into my senior year in hopes I can better myself physically for the start of the 23-24 season.  I'm currently 5"11 190lbs and growing. I hope for you to follow me on my journey in hopes that I impress you enough to give me a chance to prove to you what a great contribution to your program I can be.
