I’m a people person who gets along well with my teammates who voted me to our leadership council and team captain for our game opener and senior night. I was also the recipient of the Powell Family Scholarship for outstanding leadership. I actively serve in my community by working on the sound ministry at my church and each year help with BFA’s (Brookwood Football Association) youth camps. This year, as a rising senior, I started to mentor younger athletes within the camp on a personal basis. Academically, I chose a tougher rigor by taking Honors Classes throughout my high school career. I ended my second semester in my Junior year with a 3.0 GPA. In addition to my love of football I am also a lover of music. I have played the Cello since 6th grade and also have taken Advanced Music Tech. I would love to be able to attend a medium to large college with a great campus life. It is also important to me that the school has a football staff and team that is more than just football and a lot like a family. As an athlete, I have been described as “A sure tackler who shows the ability to force turnovers. He does a great job of taking the proper angles in pursuit of making tackles"-Gwinnett Gridiron Senior Spotlight July 2014. In my senior year as a leader I plan to make a major positive impact on my teammates on and off the field as well as lead us to another state championship. After football my goal is to be an Athletic Trainer and help younger athletes achieve their goals just as many have helped me.
