Chance Baqui '25 Recruiting Profile

 My name is Chance Baqui and I am a Junior at Kalaheo High School on the island of Oahu, HI. Growing up on an island, I am naturally drawn to the outdoors. I love all activities from the mountain to the sea. Sports that I enjoy include Football, basketball, wrestling, fishing and boogie boarding. I currently balance my academics, sports commitments, and ensure I also work out and practice outside of scheduled hours. As a student athlete, I strive to work hard both on the field and in the classroom. My faith in God, in combination with my commitment to success, motivate me to continue working hard as I trust the process.

My athletic journey began at just 2 years old, playing on a flag football team composed of 5 and 6 year olds. Being the youngest and smallest, I had to train harder during and after scheduled practices. The discipline and commitment sparked my passion for competitive sports and it is now a passion that continues to be fueled throughout my many athletic avenues.

My hope is to play at the collegiate level to further my education and bring my passion and talents to your institution. If given the opportunity, I will be fully committed to working hard on the field, pursuing my educational goals, and being an asset to any and every relationship I make along the way.
