My name is Kyle Krull (2012) - I am a red shirt freshman at Western Illnois Unviersity. I was granted my release from the WIU Leatherneck football program January 25, 2013. Currently I am 6'1, 223 lbs. running the 40 in 4.68 During the fall semester of my freshman year while rostered I achieved a 3.5 GPA at WIU. I understand what is necessary to succeed academically and athletically at the collegiate level.
During my senior year at Lemont High School, I was named team captain, Defensive Player MVP, All Conference, All Area, Honorable Mention All State, and was selected to participate in the Illinois High School Coaches Shriner's All Star Game. I've been fortunate to provide leadership for my team which has been to the IHSA quarter-finals the past 4 years. I started at MLB as a sophomore (2009) and was named captain and selected "All Conference" as a junior (2010). I give 110% all the time, every time and want to play football at the collegiate level for a team I can make a positive contribution to. By leading by example and demonstrating a commitment to excellence both on and off the field, I strive to make the other members of my team and my school better because of my efforts.
