My name is Bennie Radford, Jr. Football and Track are my passion. I have been the starting Corner and Return Man on my high school varsity football team since the first game of my freshman year. In addition to those positions I also became the starting Slot Receiver/ Running Back the start of my Junior season. We have improved every year as a team. My freshman year we were 3-6. We were 8-2 my sophomore season, losing in the first round of the play-offs. Last year my Junior season we were 10-1, winning our conference championship and a first round play-off game. These were both first for our school. I was Second Team All Conference Corner my Sophomore year. I was Honorable Mentioned All Conference. Corner my Junior year. I enjoy playing both offense and defense, but I am willing to play any position that my coaches feel I am needed. That will be my same attitude in college. I am very coachable and my goal is to be a better player each play, each game, and each season. I currently have a 3.255 GPA. I scored a 21 on my ACT this past June. I am an officer in the National Honors Society and a three year member of the men's varsity track team. Since 2010 I have qualified for the AAU Track and Field Jr. Olympic Games 5 times. I am looking for a college that will challenge me not only athletically but also academically and assist in my growth as a God fearing man. If given the opportunity I will give a team my all from the very first day until my very last.
