2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am a 6'1" 165 pound Freshman QB at Notre Dame College Prep in Niles, IL. I was the starting QB and a captain of our team, in the largest and most competitvie conference in the state, 8A CCL/ESCC conference. I have a 4.23/4.0 GPA, and am a Pre-Hesburgh Scholar. Being a Hesburgh Scholar is very important to me. It is the most rigorous academic track at NDCP, needing to complete 18 honors/AP courses, 26 credits versus 24 credits to graduate, all while maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.75.
I am looking to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation where I will be continually pushed in the classroom, but also excel on the football field. In addition to playing football, I am also a Varsity wrestler, and was a state qualifier and voted, by my coaches, as our club's top wrestler in 2019. The work ethic I have gained, and continue to learn, on the football field and in the wrestling gym, transfers over to the classroom, where I will never settle for second best.
