I was 6 years old when I first stepped onto the football field. I fell in love with the game and the challenge that it came with. I would go to practice and come home and spend hours watching film on youtube learning everything I could. When I was 8 playing pee wee football I remember being able to point certain adjustments on the field, and telling my coaches to make adjustments they couldn’t see. I continued to work and grow my football knowledge and that is something I bring to the field that gives me an advantage over the competition. As I continued to play football I emerged as a leader among my peers and teammates. I became team captain and continued to work better to improve myself and the team.
Something I learned and expanded on in this sport is my work ethic. I am always pushing myself to the limits and try to perfect even the smallest things. My work ethic carries over into the classroom as well. I always make it a priority to have outstanding grades and I do not let myself fall below a 4.0 GPA. I wake up every morning trying to improve myself and I will always continue to. I know with my work ethic, football knowledge, and leadership I can make an impact on a program.
