John Herff '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'2 210 pound middle linebacker and Defensive End  for Marian Central Catholic High School. Out of my two sports (Football and Wrestling) I am more committed to football. I have wrestled for 11 years and I am the starting 195 pounder for the best team in the state of Illinois. I spend most of my off-season's studying film and lifting. I want to do whatever it takes to play at the next level. I would be a good candidate for your team because I am a leader and I always put the team first. I am able to read offenses very well and I can identify plays pretty quickly. Although I will not be competing in the 2021 high-school season due to injury I still am a hard worker and a leader, I will come back senior year better and stronger than before.
