I have been a multi-sport athlete for as long as I can remember. Many times, I would get asked what is your favorite sport – baseball, football, or wrestling? I would smile and answer whatever sport I am playing. But, if I had to choose one, without hesitation, it would be FOOTBALL. It is a game I love to play, and I am motivated to compete at the collegiate level.
I am driven to get bigger, faster, and stronger to improve my skills on the football field. With the help of coaches and parents we have created a year-round training plan. The plan is a balance of weightlifting, speed & agility, pre-season d-line training, and in-season training. I have bought into the plan 100%. Through hard work, competing, being coachable, and leading by example I have earned a starting spot my sophomore and junior seasons. Winning the starting spot in the largest football class and toughest conference in the state is a goal I am proud to have accomplished.
In addition to being a multi-sport athlete – I understand the importance of dedicating time to the classroom and working. I must work hard to maintain my weighted GPA of 3.46. Exercising my brain will help me on and off the field. I also appreciated the value of working and earning a paycheck. The skills I am developing through sports, classroom, and work will help me be successful in college.
I am open to colleges at all levels and ultimately want to find a place I can call home. A place that has it all – competitive football team, great teammates, great coaches, values academics, and the place to make friends for life.
