Personal Statement
I am currently a Senior Quarterback and Team Captain(Class of 2014) at Oakdale High School. I love football and will be a 3 year letter winner when I graduate.
As a Senior I helped lead our program to its first ever winning season at 6-4, and was selected as the sole 1st Team All Conference QB by the MVAL Piedmont Coaches, 2nd Team All Area by the Frederick News Post, Honorable Mention All State by the Maryland Media, and was also chosen Team MVP by our coaching staff.
As a junior, I helped record our first wins in program history and I received Honorable Mention from both coaches of the MVAL Piedmont Conference and The Frederick News Post All Area Team. I have run multiple sets including single wing, double wing, spread, power, and pro and am comfortable under center, in the gun, and running read option.
This past off-season, I worked hard to improve my game and leadership skills. I worked out with a personal trainer @ 368 Personal Training, on my own with teammates, and with The QB Factory which has helped several QBs play at the next level. I also served as a Captain(as a junior) for our varsity lacrosse team as a starting defenseman, and lettered in varsity lacrosse as a sophomore as well.
My senior schedule includes my 8th AP class and 2 dual credit classes with Frederick Community College. I also take a course called Leadership Academy, which is a course offered to only a select few in my grade. I take my education seriously and am a member of The National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society, and am an AP Scholar with Honors based on AP test results. My best SAT scores were 660 (M) and 600 (RC) for a core of 1260 with 630 (W) and a total of 1890.
I will consider all schools that offer a chance for me to play football and get a great education. I feel I can be an asset to any team.
