Andrew Ouellette '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Andrew Ouellette. I’m a junior at Groton Dunstable High School and my goal is to become a collegiate placekicker. I believe I’d be an asset to your team for three reasons. 

First, I’ve got the leg. My kickoffs generally travel 50-55 yards with around a 3 second hang time. I’ve attended Kohl’s Kicking Camp over the summer and will be attending the East Coast ranking event on Dec 3, 2022. 

Second, I have performed in the clutch. I scored 24 points this year on my high school varsity team and I’m 21 of 24 on the year. In basketball I’m a shooter and I’ve made game winning shots. I am calm under pressure. 

Third and most importantly, I’m a hard worker. I started playing football late but I love it. I’ve worked hard outside of practice to catch up. This includes getting my long snapper and holder to go to the field with me or going to the field alone when they’re not around. I’m motivated and when I want something I do everything in my power to go out and get it. This includes academics, which I should mention. My grades are on the rise. My freshman and sophomore years were during covid. I had trouble with focus when working remotely. In the last year I’ve brought my grades up and I will keep working to do that so I can achieve my dream of kicking at the collegiate level. That is why I believe that I would be a good fit for your program.
