Personal Statement
My goal is to be able to play the game I love at the next level and enable me to further my education to gain a career in teaching Special Needs Children or as a Sports Trainer. I am a good candidate for any team because of my desire to be the best and as a captain I try to lead by example therefore I try to be an example of hard work for all my teammates. I try to encourage my teammates to put in the extra time in the classroom as well as the weight room and off season to better us as one unit. Winning I believe comes only through hard work, sacrifice, and dedication to the game. Although I sometimes struggle in the classroom it is not due to lack of effort as I use the same mental approach as on the field wanting to be the best at everything I do. My character is one of high integrity and an example of this is my summer working with the Special Needs children Summer Camp as a volunteer for two days or more per week while working out for football the other days. This volunteering is what led me to believe I would like this to be my chosen profession working with the less fortunate / handicapped children.
