Jelani King-Leverett '21 Recruiting Profile

In college, I will be successful and not alone. To be successful you need a team and I want everyone to be putting effort towards being the best team on the field. I want to have the feeling I get when I put my helmet and pads on when the only thing that matters except you, the ball, and your team. When I line up on the field the person on the other side of the ball is barely even human to me anymore and more of just an obstacle to get through. As a player I'm open to all advice a coach gives me and I want to learn more about the game of football until I stop playing. With coaching to help me get better then I will take the advice and use it to be a beast on the field, making the other team remember who hit them.  Football is a team sport and I don't plan on just making myself better but keep my whole team engaged in the game we love.
