Joshua Bennett '20 Recruiting Profile

             Hi Coaches and Recruiters! My name is Joshua Hunter Bennett. I play Football, Track & Field, and Basketball at Sturgis High School. One of my goals as an athlete is to play at a division 1 level whether it be any of those three sports. The sport I believe I have the most talent in is definitely football. I've been playing football since 2nd grade and don't plan on stoping until I can't walk anymore.

             I've gotten a lot of complements from teachers and coaches both about how much I know the game and how easy I am to teach to. And how good of a listener I am. Also I will never argue with a coach about what I believe is correct or what I believe is wrong because the coach is always right! For example if you tell me I'm doing something wrong and ways to fix it, I will stop at nothing to fix that problem.

        I also believe I'm a lot different then many recruits because my only focus is academics and sports, those two things rule my whole life. I have been a team captain in football every single year I've played. Because I will never bash a player for doing something wrong I will guide them to do right and will lead my team to do the very best.

       Not to mention I'm always at team workouts and events. I was the only freshman in my class to never miss a single workout all winter, spring, and summer. But most of the time I was the only freshman there. Those were some reasons I think you should consider me to play for your team!
