Cody Segelstrom '17 Recruiting Profile

    I have always wanted to play football at the next level. Watching college football on Saturdays made me want to be there. It made me want to get to that level. I have been playing football since 4th grade. Football has been a big part of my life and I don't want to make my senior year of High School the last time I play the sport. Football has made me strive to get better, whether its on or off the field, or even academically. Freshman year I walked into the Auditorium for are football meeting, my coach talked about people looking up to football players. He said there the ones that behave and do things correctly on the field but most importantly off the field. This had made me determined to maintain a good GPA, play hard, and never give up.

    Playing college football would be my dream. People would look up to me, just like I do to those who are at the next level. I'm always looking for a way to get better at playing the sport. I work out daily, and I go to a speed training place in town twice a week. I think playing at the collegiate level will better me in every aspect of life.
