This past season was my senior season and overall it was a successful season! Although I had a nagging injury (sprained ankle) the whole season, I still finished with an average of 103.5 yards per game, 828 yards, 7 touchdowns and 6.4 yards per carry. My team finished with a record of 5-4.
My goal for lifting weights was to break our conference power clean record, which I did with 315 lbs. In order to achieve that, I lift weights all year round. Also during the off-season I run, do speed training, and agility. Whatever it is, I love working on a challenge to improve myself!
My other interests are Track and field and weight lifting. I throw Discus and Shot-put, and also run the 4x100. Last year in track, I achieved All-Conference in Shotput, and Honorable Mention in Discus and the 4x100 relay. That was my first year in Track and field! I am looking forward to another great season, and hope to break my personal records.
I also play the Baritone in the Wind Ensemble, and have enjoyed being part of the school band since the sixth grade.
I see myself in the future going to college, playing football, enjoying life and having a successful career that revolves around sports. Overall, I am capable of achieving whatever I set my mind to. I work hard to improve myself and the teams that I am with. This will hopefully carry me into my college experience with great goals and rewards to work hard for, and give me an education to be proud of.
