Personal Statement
Throughout high school I have had the goal of playing college football. I have been pursuing ways to get better each and every day to achieve this goal. My collegiate goals include finding a school that is best for me, my family, my future, and my ability to play football. What distinguishes me from other athletes is my work ethic and attitude, both on and off the field. I believe I take coaching well, listen well, and apply it to what I am doing. I am always positive, encouraging teammates, and compete with a winning attitude, confident, and give nothing less than 100%. During my off-seasons I am constantly working out on the field, and in the gym to improve my size, strength and speed. Looking at my measurables, nothing may jump out at you, but I am technically sound, have good instincts, and play with leverage. I believe what makes me a good candidate for a college team is that I have yet to reach my physical peak. Each year I have played, I have outperformed the year before. But above all, I am tenacious.
