Philip Pecora '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Philip Pecora and my dream is to play college football. I am a 6'2 230 pound TE/DE/FB. I attend the Pennington Prep School and was selected last year to both the All-Prep 1st Team Defense and 1st Team Offense. Since last season I have cut my 40 time down by .4's of a second and my strength has increased remarkably as well. My GPA is a 3.6 and I scored a 1330 on the SAT's. I got a 5 on the AP History Exam and a 730 on the US History SAT 2. I realize I have begun the recruiting process later than most kids, and that is because of my love for baseball. I was not sure until last year which I would pursue at the college level.
Academics are immensely important to me. After all, I will never earn a living playing football. Having been in Private School my whole life I am looking for a small to medium sized institution. Location is not too big of a deal. I am looking to have an impact as early as possible though. My years playing this great game are limited, and I would like to be on the field making the most of them. My goal is a D1-AA, but I would still love playing at a academically strong D-III School. Who knows? Maybe I'll have a big senior year and end up at a small D1. Thank you for your interest in me.
