Personal Statement

My name is Anthony Valdez. Football has always been something that is a HUGE part of my life. Football has taught me many things including how to deal with adversity, how to take the best wins/the worst losses, and even instilling a disciplinary mindset into my life. I am also a natural leader. Ultimately, someone that can make everyone around me better, and a player that can make all around plays during the most crucial moments. Lastly, I am someone that always gives my 100%. 

I am also a student athlete that maintains and can keep strong grades in the classroom. Not only do I perform well in the classroom, I perform well in other sports (wrestling, lacrosse, and track) and even in the weight room. Nevertheless , I always work on improvement. Settling for less is something I will never do.
