Brian Myers '13 Recruiting Profile

     My name is Brian Myers. I'm 19 years old. I attended East Stroudsburg University for one semester, and I am now ready to resume my college education and eager to play football. I have remained active in a variety of sports and weight training. I have played football for seven years. In high school, I was a starter on my freshman team and played receiver and cornerback. In my sophomore year, I played junior varsity in the same positions. During my junior year, early in the season I played outside line backer for both JV and varsity as a starter, but eventually was moved to only varsity, and I started. In my last season in high school,  I was a team captain, a starter, and played tight end/wide receiver and defensive end/outside linebacker. I played both sides - offense and defensive and played the whole game. I was team MVP for the 2012-2013 season and selected to play in the South Jersey All Classic. Despite our team record, I believe I had a great last season.       I am a hard worker and very passionate about sports, especially football. I love playing football the most, even though I have also been playing basketball and golf for about ten years. I have been working hard in the off season training in the weight room, and it has paid off. I am much stronger this year and continue to get stronger. Also, this year, I am focused on sports performance training and continuing in the weight room. Since the time I've started playing football, I've been hooked. I have dreamed of playing in college and in the NFL. I would prefer to attend medium sized schools on the east coast, but I will consider all if I have the opportunity to play football. Currently, my major is undecided.  My athletic goal is to keep playing football at the next level no matter how hard I have to work for it.
