Football has been in my life now for nine years; ever since the first year I had felt myself becoming more and more of a leader. I had played quarterback my second year and loved it ever since. I'm infatuated by the fact that it's a part of me and whenever I get asked the question "what do you like to do?" or "what's your passion?" my response is and always will be football. I believe strongly in the idea that actions speak louder than words, and have always seen a better response from my peers with that style of leadership. My goal is to move my education to the next level while having the privilege to play this great game that I love. Without this game I can confidently say I would not be the responsible, respectable young adult I am today. Nearly everything I've learned on the field can be applied off of it. One of my favorite quotes that I love to utilize for motivation throughout my football career is "anything in life worth doing, is worth over doing. Moderation is for cowards." The "one more" aspect of football teaches a drive and self discipline that is second to none. These life lessons apply nearly flawlessly to my school life in the sense that whatever I put into it, I'm going to get out of it. The way I approach school work is just like my athletics, classwork and homework is practice and the tests are game day, or what our team likes to call "pay day." I see my self as a role model to my peers and I believe I could be a great influence in almost any program.
