Even in the midst of a global pandemic, the lessons I’ve learned through football have kept me hopeful. I am able to remain level headed, and determined to overcome my present state.
I am eager to play football yet again, but for now I continue workouts daily. My goal is to play football on a college level as I pursue a degree in graphic design and atmospheric science. I plan to excel both academically and athletically.
Playing football has been a passion of mine since the age of 5. I started out playing flag football through parks and recreation and scored many touchdowns. I remember the first time I played tackle football. I was one of the smallest players on the field at the time but enjoyed tackling my opponents. I remember winning our Super Bowl several years in a row and being able to go back and see our trophy at our department of parks and recreation.
Through my years of playing football I have been able to meet several different coaches including college coaches. I am grateful for all of the insights and guidance over the years and I look forward to using everything I have learned on and off of the field to guide me through my college career and beyond.
