Personal Statement
My current goal is to receive a scholarship to college, preferably a division 1 school and become one of the best competitive wide receivers the league has ever seen. I have been playing football since I was four years old and it has become a part of my career goals. I would eventually like to play professional football, and possibly be a coach for college or the NFL. My second career goal is to be a part of law enforcement and work for the FBI. I also plan to be part owner of a family owned restaurant with my older brother. Another goal I have is to give back to the community. I plan to start a foundation that will support charter schools and their athletic departments. My foundation will give athletic scholarships to students who aspire to play college sports. I understand how hard it can be to be recognized by college coaches, because of going to a charter school. Therefore students who have a very slim chance of receiving the recognition needed, to attend college on a athletic scholarship will have a better chance through my foundation.
What makes me different from other recruits in athletics is being able to play both defensive and offensive positions, knowing the mechanics of football and I am also a great team player. I am willing to do what ever it takes for my team to win and play as hard as we can together to the end. I push myself on and off the field to become a better player and an asset to society. I am constantly doing what it takes to keep my body in shape by completing strength trainings, ply-o-metrics and watching what I put in my body. Academically I am a great student, I work hard in every subject. When needed I seek my teachers out for help and will stay after school. My grades and being an outstanding athlete is very important to me and I will stop at nothing to achieve the academic and athletic goals necessary to be successful.
