Hello,
My name is Beau Redwood. I am currently a junior at Sapulpa High School, class of 2024. I have been playing football since 1st grade. Early on I was taught that hard work pays off and to always give my 110% and to play with heart. In my junior years of football I was playing in Washington state. I was awarded lineman of the year 4 years in a row. Also I never missed a practice while playing junior ball. After I moved to Oklahoma I began playing for Sapulpa little Chiefs and moved up to the Sapulpa High School program. I am a 2 year starter on the OL and help out on the DL when needed. I have played the center position most of my life but am versatile and can play anywhere on the line where needed. I pride myself in being one of the first ones on the practice field, ready to go. In the weight room I continue to push myself to be one of the top lifters on my team. I have excellent coaches for which I respect and have learned alot about how to play the game of football and they continue to push me to help elevate my abilities. My teammates are some of my best friends both on and off the field.
I have been honored to be awarded with the Frontier Valley academics honorable mention award the last 3 years for maintaining a GPA between 3.0-3.4. I am proud to share that this year I was awarded the Class 5A District 3 All District First Team award, one that is not easy to get as this is a very talented and competitive league. I am excited and looking forward to my senior year and hope that my hard work and dedication will help me to continue my football career in college.
Outside of football I am heavily involved in JROTC. I enjoy the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping. I hope to make a career later in life being a game warden. I helped my dad rebuild our house and we work on and repair vehicles for the family, friends and neighbors. Also I continue to be involved with the Little Chiefs football program as an assistant coach for the second and third grade team. My family and I attend the Way Church in Sapulpa, Ok.
