I am hoping to get into a college with a great education, great coaches, and a great football team. I strive to be the best version of myself and to grow each day. Being surrounded by greatness is the best way for me to develop all of my God-given talents in college.
My aspirations are to play college football at the most competitive level possible. What makes me a good candidate for your football team is that I am a big player and would be a useful lineman for your roster on defense or offense. On offense I can block any oncoming players to protect the ball and the quarterback. On defense I can find the vulnerable spot, get past the guy inside or outside, and help my team get the ball back.
What makes me different from other athletes is my character and commitment to developing my athletic ability. I show respect for my coaches and teammates. I stay focused on the game and on practice. I take school seriously and keep good grades. If I make a mistake, I acknowledge it, and I move on committed to practicing and improving so I get it right the next time. Athletically, I have been playing tackle football for about nine years now. I have also played 7-on-7 for two years. I do daily cardio and strength training on my own and practice with my team, often finding myself in the gym or practice 2-3 times a day, year round. As opportunities for specialized skills training is available, I participate. I do not use the offseason to relax but to train so I can be better the next game. I will show this same commitment to college athletics and academics.
