Being a collegiate kicker was a goal that I hadn't even realized I had until I stepped on the field to try-out as a senior this year. For 3 years I attended a boarding school in Portland called OES which didn't offer an football but I had always thought that it would be a blast, I instead did track & field and rock climbing for the first 3 years of my high school career. I wanted to spend this last year connecting with family more since I realized I would be moving away for college not allowing me to see them as much. So, I came home to Aumsville and attended Blanchet Catholic School. Here I joined the football team and discovered my talent as a kicker. The first day of practice after I had tried out my coaches and teammates were amazed telling my I could go to college for this sort of thing. At first I thought all of this was joking around at first but I became more interested in it as a prospect as the practices went by and I kept getting the same supportive banter.
