Personal Statement
I would like to attend a four-year, Division 1, university with a degree in coaching. My ultimate dream, or goal, is to play football in the NFL. Because of this, I would like to go to a school that will prepare me and expose me for that. I would love to learn from a coach who can both coach me and be a mentor to me on and off the field like mine does now.
I am an outstanding candidate for a collegiate level team, because I will bring a role of leadership and inspiration from the weight room to the football field. I lead by example and love my brothers on and off the field. My voice can be heard in many different ways. One of them is motivation. I love the game of football and always have a smile on my face. I bring that excitement and love to the game and to the people around me.
Ever since I can remember (second grade), I've carried a football at school, home and to other activities. I am very competitive but at the same time love to have fun. I give the game everything I've got, but I believe practice and hard work are the foundation and because of that, I give it all I've got in the weight room and training.
Currently, I am taking collegiate level classes as a junior. I work hard in school and I am an above average student. My grades have been above average from kindergarten through 11th grade. I understand that academics come first and that being true, I try to encourage my teammates to work hard and get their work done. If I am to lead by example, my grades should reflect my drive and dedication.
