I have been playing football since elementary school and have been excelling at each level. I have always known I wanted to go to college so to be able to play football at the college level is what I have committed to making come true.
My goal of playing football at college level started by coming to Lackawanna College in fall 2021. I am currently at Lackawanna playing JUCO football. I will receive my AA degree in May 2023, but I have 3 more years of eligibility left because I red-shirted my freshman year.
I am also a qualifier with an overall GPA of 3.2. I currently play safety and nickel (overhang) position.
I played and started every game this past season at Lackawanna and was on special teams.
In High School, I played and started at Freedom High School in Bethlehem, PA all 4 years at varsity level as a defensive back (CB).
Lackawanna made it to the Wool Bowl in New Mexico this year. I had a 90-yard pick 6 in the game and 3 picks total for the season.
I have self confidence that helps me deal with pressure on the field and I stay focused on where a play is going. I pride myself on being a cover DB, fast at the point of attack and I can tackle in space.
I am outgoing, a great teammate and well-rounded student athlete with great leadership qualities.
At every level so far, I have been a key contributor on each team I have played for.
I look forward to finding a college program where I can contribute on the field and continue to get a good education.
Thanks for your time. I would love to make a difference in your program.
Sincerely, Ambrose Fletcher Jr (AJ)
