Kevin Thomas '22 Recruiting Profile

As a student-athlete, I set the standards for myself very high. I expect myself to constantly improve in every area of life, not just my athletics. Being as though I've been actively playing a variety sports since I was 5 yrs. old; with football being my true passion from the beginning of my football career as a flag football all the way through Highschool.  My family has always supported me in all of my endeavors. They encourage me to be a man of great integrity and character, to be fearless and to never give up on my dreams.  I've learned to adapt to many different personalities, social setting and environments; all while remaining true to myself. I don’t let my obstacles or shortcoming define me, I let them motivate me. I believe that a few characteristics that make me different from other recruits is my persistence, coach-able personality, diversity on the field, humility, and all around athletic ability. I’ve been awarded indoor state champion in the 60 meter hurdles as well as top 5 fastest hurdlers in the country which carries over to the football field.  I’m a versatile player, playing varsity all 4 yrs of Highschool. I have been invited to several camps including the 2021 Rivals 5star Challenge. 

I’m willing to do whatever is needed of me for the betterment of the team, regardless of whether I’m on offense, defense or special teams. I just love the game with all its ups and down. Since I was a kid, all I dreamed about was playing college/pro ball and becoming successful at it. I just want to put the work in, make a difference on the team and do whatever is needed to make those dreams come true. I’ll be a great representation of your program and your school both academically and athletically.
