Personal Statement
I have played the game of football since the age of 6. It has always been my passion to play at the college level. I was sidelined by a wrestling injury from May 2014-February 2015. I struggled emotionally and academically during this time as I didn't know how this was going to affect my football future. I have since made a full recovery and I am performing in the classroom as well as on the field. I have always played for the better of the team, not myself. I am only a piece of the puzzle that performs on that field. We all must play as one to achieve the victory. I volunteer my help at school with a classroom of kids with special needs/disabilities. I enjoy helping out the local youth football organization in my community to help younger kids enjoy the game as I did at that age. Giving back to the community is very important to me.I also wrestled from age 5 through my freshman year of high school. I placed 8th in the state at the PA Junior wrestling state competition in 2012. I love the commitment and dedication each sport requires of myself. I feel I am qualified to play at the college level due to my years of sports commitment and academic achievements. My dream is to play at the Division I level.
