Personal Statement

To get a good Education (Electrical Engineering Degree), from a good university ... while playing a sport I love .. I have been involved in Gymnastics since the age of 8 and have the discipline necessary to accomplish my goals. I was one of the top Gymnast in the State of South Carolina, while competing. I competed for the state at the Regional level the last three years of my competitions. I still am involved with a Cheer team that allows me to continue with my tumbling. A normal day for me starts at 7am and finishes (other than homework) at 8:30 pm ... this includes school, football, and cheer. I am dedicated to my goals and have a gym set up at my home to allow me to work out on my own. I am a Honors student and am on the A/B Honor Roll...I was nominated for he National Honor Society. My GPA is 4.193.

Beautiful Day .. no excuses ... had a pretty good electronic timed 40 @ 4.60 (3rd Fastest).. shuttle was ok @ 4.25 (5th Fastest) .. Vertical was ok @ 33.3" ... the powerball killed me. I haven't figured it out but don't think I will see it again ! I threw a terrible 29' .. all that said I posted an 81.21 which is in the 93rd percentile ... Was raining before we started and poured all through the combine events. I ran a 4.49 and a 4.45 in the 40 in the pouring rain and 50'F This was good enough for 3rd fastest. I was 1st in the Vertical with a 34" jump. Was slipping in the shuttle but still ran a 4.3 .. I'll post the other results as I get them as well as where I placed. A little disappointing. I expected to post a big number and I felt good. I hit all my cuts and ran well, but was just a step slow. Probably had to do with driving 5 hours and then competing. Still posted in the Top 90 percentile .. even with a disappointing performance. I'll do better in Charlotte SPARQ

Had a Great camp. Spent time w/ RB Coach Norval McKenzie... ran a 4.5/40 .. 4.12 shuttle ... 9' broad ... 30.5' triple jump .. a 7.32 second L-drill (1st time ever running) .. was the only RB class of 2016 there but had the best numbers in all events.
