Jada Montgomery '24 Recruiting Profile

I first picked up a basketball at the age of 3. Ever since then, I’ve played on a gender-mixed team, recreation ball, and high school varsity since the 7th grade, also been a starter. While participating in that, Track and Field was also a sport I was involved in.

I’m a good candidate for a team because I’m a humble player, makes sure everyone’s involved and motivate them, also coachable and will do anything to get the job done. I’m a leader so I try to lead by example for upper and lower classes. Not the type to get frustrated at every mistake I make, but remembers it and just keeps going until it’s right and learn from it along the way. 

My goals are to perform sports at the next level while also focusing on studies that will help me continue my dream career. Looking for a college that will push me to do and be the best at what I dream of both on and off the court. Once I start a task, I’m determined to finish it no matter how long it takes. As a student-athlete, I’m open to any options and level of competition. 

I hope to find the college that’s right for me and will benefit me in the future. Nobody has to give me anything, I work hard and earn it. Just wanna make my family proud and prove to people that it takes effort and determination to get to where you wanna go. Never know who’s watching you.
