Personal Statement
I am currently a junior 6' 6" TE on both the varsity football and track teams at Wando High School, which is the largest high school in the state of S.C. I am also a 3rd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and a full instructor at my school. I currently hold the record for the fastest 40 time by a tight end in my high school's history. This year I also hold the fastest Nebraska drill and sled times for the football team.
I am an honor roll student and I am in the Beta club and the National Honors Society.. Our school is one of the few in the nation with a special biomedical sciences major and I am excited that I am able to get a jump start on my field of interest so early.
My teachers have rewarded my leadership skills for two years in a row by awarding me the Golden Warrior award at our high school. I was also a mentor for 8th graders interested in our school during my freshman year.
In my free time I enjoy playing the guitar and I volunteer my time each week playing in the worship band at all of our church's weekend services. I also volunteer to help teach others interested wanting to learn to play guitar.
My goal is to play college football at a top level school while pursuing my education in the biomedical sciences field. My plans are to go on to medical school after my undergraduate degree.
