Nate Nordeen '24 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals are to attend a University where I can further my academic success as evidenced by my consistent strong high GPA in order to become a Physicians Assistant .  I would like to compete as a collegiate athlete with football being my focus, specifically as a kicker.  I have had four successful seasons of high school football starting as a Freshman on the Varsity team, by making 20 out of 21 point after touchdowns, helping my team to compete strongly at the Region level, and in my Junior Year, my team was the Region Champion, and I was awarded Region Special Teams Player of the Year.  Currenlty, during my Senior Year, my team is the Region Champion again, and I hold the school record for longest field goal of 50 yards.  I am consistent with my touchbacks as well as PATs.  Additionally,   I plan to continue to work on my skills, and with the assistance of my supportive Coaching staff at Strom Thurmond High School, I would like to be a competitive addition to a collegiate team.  I have recently also earned a position on my high school baseball team, and my Coach indicated that one of the qualities that sets me apart from other teammates is how I treat others on my team with respect, and that I am humble.  I am willing to work hard on and off the field, and know that academics are extremely important as well.  I maintain a high GPA of 4.470, and I am in the top 18% of my class academically.
