Ever sense I was a little kid my dad and mom had me playing sports, my dad was a really good receiver at Baytown Lee, they were able to play in the astro dome and lifted that whole community up, I planned to do the same thing, bring the community back together to watch us play some football, Before I had started my high school football career I had to make a tough decision, I chose to leave my brothers and sister in order to come to Baytown Lee, it was a very hard decision but I knew I had to do it, when I first got there there weren’t the greatest team, my sophomore year I was on varsity as a starting DB, this was my first year on varsity and as a defense player, but I love to compete and I wanted to play so I adapted, that year we won our first district game in three years, this past year was my junior season, and now I was starting on offense, I played nine out of the ten games as a receiver, one of the games I stepped up to play quarterback, with the stats from the nine games I was still able to obtain 1st team all district, third best receiver in district with most receptions and yards, we fought and battled hard to win four out of six of our games, and this year as a senior I’ve have been pushing everyone even hard then ever, because I truly believe we can make a run for playoffs, I love the game of football ball, it test your will to keep fight or to give up, with football you need a team working together, you need athletes working together , and that’s how bonds form, I’ve created some very strong bonds with football, football has shaped me into the man that I am today.
