Colt Hodges '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Colt Hodges and I am a 2025 graduate. I play Defensive End, Tight End, Defensive Lineman, and Special Teams. I’ve grown up on stories of my father, grandfather, and great-grandfather playing sports at the DI collegiate level, and it is my goal to follow in their footsteps. As a player I bring speed, strength, versatility, and leadership to the field. From my very earliest days playing youth sports, where I was voted Player of the Year by my leagues’s referees, I’ve been taught that attitude and hard work are key. I am aware of what it takes to get to and compete at a level of excellence, and I am dedicated to achieving both.

I am currently a three sport athlete, competing in football, basketball, and track . I am an honor student and on the A Honor Roll. Both of my parents are college graduates, and I have been taught the value of receiving a higher education, though I am still exploring my options as to my college major. Aside from school activities, I live on a ranch and know how to put in a full day’s work.

I am smart, responsible, respectful, and above all, coachable. I look forward to my future in a program where I can be an asset and where I can continue to grow my athletic skills.
